Taking The Road Less Traveled

Think back on all of the things you set out to do at the
beginning of the year. Think back further to those things you
promised to do by the time you reached thirty or forty or fifty.
Any regrets? How many things on that list have you set out in
full determination to do, but in the end, that devil on your
shoulder warned you against starting, telling you that youre
too old, too young, too out of shape, too afraid? Too often we
listen to that nagging voice telling us that we cant or we
shouldnt. Too often, that voice leads to opportunities lost.
Now think back on all the times you went with your gut feeling,
not that voice in your ear. I would bet that nine times out of
ten, despite the fear and the doubt, you came out feeling like
you were on top. Pretty remarkable feeling, wouldnt you say?

Its so easy to succumb to the voice of reason, we hear
screaming inside. Dont get me wrong, sometimes that is the
voice to heed. But Im talking about dreams here, not those
decisions that bring into question our duties or
responsibilities. Im talking about that personal something that
youve always wanted to accomplish for yourself, but were too
afraid. Those goals we set at the beginning of the year like
running a marathon, losing 15 pounds, taking a trip solo, or
conquering a phobia. When we have a dream or a goal, we mean
well, dont we? We set out to do it. But something keeps us from
it. Theres that voice, that deafening voice that serves as an
insurmountable barricade, and keeps us from taking that first
step. It whispers, taunting us by saying that were not good
enough, not serious enough, not ambitious enough, not smart
enough, and not brave enough. Ironic isnt it that all too often
that voice echoes in the same timbre of our mother, our father,
our husband or wife, even our children. Imagine your dream; it
could be ambitious, something that will take years to
accomplish, or even something small and personal to bring you a
little happiness. The possibilities abound when you are able to
ignore the voices, and take that first step forward. I did, and
it completely altered my perspective on where I was headed in
life.

My fianc้ and I just recently relocated from sunny Florida to
the green and rolling horse farms of central Kentucky. We had
both grown up in the Sunshine State and had little desire to
leave until he was offered a scholarship to attend the
University of Kentuckys School of Law. It was with heavy hearts
that we said goodbye to friends and family, 100% humidity, and
the tourist-filled streets. Once we arrived in Lexington, we
found that there were more than hurricanes and humidity missing.
Peoples accents were different, there was no Cuban food to be
found in any of the ethnic food aisles, and jobs that had been
abundant in the South were not as easily available up in the
bluegrass.

It was after a month of job-hunting (as though it were my job),
that I decided I needed to take myself on an outing. I had been
cooped up in the apartment, sending resumes, sending thank you
letters, desperate for human interaction and even more desperate
for a job. The pressure and the disappointment were mounting.
Yes, it was definitely time for an outing. I consulted my handy
Welcome to Kentucky guide that the Kentucky Visitors Bureau
had graciously supplied me with, skeptical of what I might find.
I searched for attractions in the area, and one caught my eye
right away: The Raven Run Sanctuary. A Sanctuary, I thought to
myself, Now theres just the thing I need. The
description sounded promising, a 470 acre nature sanctuary with
over 10 miles of hiking trails.

I was intrigued. But something kept me from walking out the door
just then. That voice, far in the back of my mind whispering do
you really thing this is a good idea? I began to doubt myself.
I picked up the phone and called a friend. Single and in her
early twenties, it was practically effortless to get her to side
with my wilder, adventure-seeking half. It only took a few
minutes of conversation to convince me that I needed to change
into a pair of shorts, a tank top and some good walking shoes,
and head out the door. My more cautious side prompted me to grab
a small backpack into which I threw a Swiss army knife, a
sweater, and a bottle of water. I was dressed and out the door
within ten minutes of having spoken to my friend.

The drive to the nature sanctuary was calming and pleasant. I
rolled all of the windows down and turned the radio off,
enjoying the sounds of tractors, the smell of fresh cut grass,
and the feel of the blowing wind along the way. The sanctuary
was about forty minutes from where I live in Lexington, and the
further I drove, the more I was reminded of the film
Deliverance and the unforgettable You aint from these parts,
are ya? scene, complete with Dueling Banjos orchestrating my
imagination. Again, the voice came back warning this is
foolish, anything could happen out here! A slight bump in the
road had me worried that my tire had gone flat, a wrong turn
wondering if I might be shot at for having trespassed.

After having unknowingly driven past the entrance to the park
twice, I was almost ready to give up, but I thought what the
hell, Ive come this far! I had finally made it to the parking
lot, and to my horror, there was only one other car parked
there. Oh lord, the voice said, youre going to be murdered
or worse out here in the woods by yourself, and no one will find
your body for weeks, or even months. I took some solace in
knowing that at the very least I had told my friend where I was
headed. Even my fianc้ had no idea of my intention to go hiking
on a whim.

There was a sign that pointed to the Nature Center. I figured
there would be someone there whom I could ask about the safety
of a young girl hiking on her own. I picked up an abandoned
walking stick, and started down a cemented path that lead
through a wood. It was quiet. I looked ahead, and saw nothing
but the path. I looked behind, and saw the same. On either side
were trees, and trees, and more trees. But I kept on, and
eventually came to an opening where there sat a small house with
a sign marking it as the Nature Center. A barn sat behind the
house.

There was not a soul to be seen, although there were four cars
parked near the small building. Employees cars I guessed,
although I did not see any employees. At the window there was a
sign in sheet and a pile of maps with a rock laid on top to keep
the wind from blowing them away. I glanced down the list. There
had been six sets of visitors that day, all of which had already
come and gone except for one couple. No one had come on their
own I noticed, and most had remarked that this was not their
first visit to the sanctuary. I carefully wrote in my name. I
wanted to be sure that it was legible in case I was killed or
bitten by a snake or attacked by a bear. I listed the make and
model of my car, the number in my party (one), and stated this
was my first visit to the park. Maybe I should lie, I
pondered, just in case some sick bastard chanced a look and
decided to hunt down some ignorant city girl in the woods that
day. I decided Id take my chances. I opened my map, gripped my
walking stick anxiously, and took my first steps down the path,
starting my journey. It took me about a half hour of walking to
get used to the idea that I would not be running in to other
people.

There was a sign posted that said Overlook. That sounds
nice, I thought, and headed in the direction it pointed toward.
I came to a fork in the road, and consulted my handy,
Xerox-copied map. Either path would lead me to the overlook, so
which one to take? Robert Frosts The Road Less Traveled came
to mind. Both looked pretty well defined, but feeling inspired,
I took notice that the path to the right led into the woods, the
other through a flowered field, and I made the decision that any
reader of that poem would make, and I took the road less
traveled by. It led me deep into a forest. Not a sound could be
heard save for the fall of leaves and my own labored breathing
as I trekked up and down the hillside. Then came the echo of my
fiances voice in my head wisely stating you should not be
doing this by yourself. I kept on with some trepidation. And
then I stopped dead in my tracks. A doe with her fawn were
lunching on a bush. It was the closest I had ever been to
nature. I stood quite still until my joints felt stiff and I
became eager for a better look. My step forward alerted them to
my presence and they dashed off, leaping further into the
wilderness. I kept on. I was beginning to feel better about
this, until I had a moment of dread recalling scenes from the
Blair Witch film. What if the paths were changing continuously
and I ended up lost forever? What if I was reading the map
incorrectly? I took a deep breath, and with great effort, worked
again to quiet these voices of the skeptical city girl.

After about an hour of hiking, I realized that I was walking
quite near a Cliffside. Again fear. Fear of heights this time. I
thought I could see water below, but was too nervous to bend
over the side and take a better look. I decided just to keep on
my path. It wasnt long until I reached the end. There were
several large boulders in front of me, and I mustered up the
courage and climbed from one down to another. I had not prepared
myself for the spectacular view that surrounded me. It had all
been worth it; all the fear, all the anxiety, all the doubt. I
stood about thirty stories above a river, and across me and on
all sides of me were cliff walls, cutting sharply into the
grey-blue waters below. And for the first time since I had set
out on this outing, on this search for sanctuary, I felt peace.
And more than that, I felt accomplishment. I had conquered all
of my urban fears to venture out into a breathtaking timeless
moment, hidden away from everyone else at that particular point
in time, feeling as though all of the trees and cliffs and the
river below were available only to me. It was as though I had
traveled through Alices looking glass into another world,
another time.

I dont recall how long I sat there, breathing in the fresh air,
exhaling all of the tension I had carried with me from the
start. The voice stopped then, and a new voice chimed in. You
did it, it said. You werent bitten by a snake; you werent
attacked by bears, or killed or raped by some mad man, or
attacked by poison ivy. I felt like I could do anything just
then. I had even braved sitting near the edge of the cliff to
get a better look. And then I suddenly felt silly, realizing
that I had spent all this time applying my knowledge and
wariness of the asphalt jungle to this far less dangerous and
far more inviting rural wilderness.

I started my hike back worry free and filled with vigor and
pride and a sense of accomplishment. I thought back over all the
pedicures and shopping sprees I had treated myself with. I
thought back on the safe choices I had made that, in their own
way were rewarding, but lacked any real challenge and therefore
any reaffirming sense of you can. I thought back and realized
that this outing, this desperation for sanctuary turned
adventure, was the best thing I had done for myself in years.
And that has made all the difference.

The Road Less Traveled

by Robert Frost

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood

And sorry I could not travel both

And be one traveler, long I stood

And looked down one as far as I could

To where it bent in the undergrowth

Then took the other as just as fair

And having perhaps the better claim

Because it was grassy and wanted wear

Though as for that, the passing there

Had worn them really about the same

And both that morning equally lay

In leaves no step had trodden black

Oh, I kept the first for another day!

Yet, knowing how way leads onto way

I doubted if I should ever come back

I shall be telling this with a sigh

Somewhere ages and ages hence

Two roads diverged in a wood

And I took the one less traveled by

And that has made all the differencebr

Did you know you can test drive the future and see how your manifestation project is going to turn out? Read on and Ill show you a very cool mental process for improving your manifesting success dramatically before youve even begun!

One of the best uses of your time when manifesting is to check before you even start that youre heading in a productive direction, a direction that fits with you and your life.

Theres nothing more deflating than getting something youve wanted for a long time only to find out it wasnt as interesting or exciting as you thought.

Luckily with some clever mind tricks we can take a sneaky peak at the future and find out if your goal is really cool enough before doing much work!

Now whether your subconscious mind is simply calculating whats likely to happen and generating a probable future for you (making this a creative visualization type process) or whether youre actually remote viewing a future path that branches off from this moment now is up for debate.

So heres how you can experiment with the time path exercise so you can go see for yourself:

Step One: Find a comfortable place where youll have peace and quiet and can safely relax and close your eyes.

Step Two: Take a few nice deep relaxing breaths.

Step Three: Imagine your standing on a line… past events in one direction, future events leading off in another.

Step Four: Imagine youre floating up now, high above this line… and when your ready float back down into your ideal future, 6 months from now.

Step Five: Look around in this future. What do you notice? Whats new, whats no longer there? How do all the elements fit together? Is there anything youd like to add to make it even nicer? Is there anything youd like to change?

Step Six: When youre ready, simple float back to the room, open your eyes and start making some notes in your Success Log. How does this experience inform your manifestation project? Does it give you any new ideas?

Anything youd like to tweak to make your future even more to your liking? Is there anything your subconscious can tell you to get started with today, tomorrow and the next day?

Travel, Stay Happy, Earn Excellent Money Free Time From Home

Thursday, December 10th, 2009

Author: Harry R. G. Beckerbr

br
Here are the first of three steps to stay happy, positive, and prosperous in a world of daily escalating negative economic events. For the next 30-days implement the following free ideas:

Immediately stop reading the front page of all newspapers and any editorials.

Immediately stop listening to all TV news broadcasts. The best way to do this is to simply unplug your TV. The same is true for your radio.

REPLACE the above saved time with positive activities like, but not limited to, the following:

Reading self-improvement books. Check them out from the local library so they truly are free to you.

The library also has DVDs and CDs on self-improvement too.

Listen to music on CDs with enlightening words or instrumentals.

List your personal visions and goals and those of your family so that everyone has something fun to look forward to. Then display those visions in a prominent place at home where everyone can see them daily.

Use some of the saved time to visit more with your family members about what they like to do. Then, if possible, do those things with them.

Take up a hobby that you have always wanted to do.

During this 30-day trial, write down all of the positive things that have happened due directly or indirectly to this new change in how you invest your time each day. Keep repeating this process every 30 days if you like the results that you are getting. Chances are, you will be amazed at how much better life really is with making these simple adjustments in your daily routing.

The second step is equally beneficial and easy to implement for achieving increased prosperity in your life. After each meal, on a daily basis, read the following factual affirmation out loud to yourself in private: As soon as I am 18 years of age or older, I will be like the majority of first generation millionaires in that I will starting out with a JOB to support myself. Then just as soon as possible I, like them, will become the owner of my own business. I am truly thankful for being able to follow this proven success path. Most important about this step is that you choose a business that you love, so doing it will not even seem like work to you when you are doing it.

The third step is as important, if not more important than the first two steps simply because it encourages, promotes, and empowers you to activate the powerful success key Beginning is Half Done! Here is the third and last step. Decide that you are going to take action right now to do what it takes to make the best decisions based on the best advice available and believe that the best results will happen. Put your pride on a shelf because you cannot do everything by yourself. Ask and you will receive the help that you need. Remember too, beginning is half done.

God bless you with an overflowing abundance of good health, love, happiness, success, prosperity, and a bright new future and lifestyle that you will allow yourself and the ones you love to have.

Mercury Retrograde and Time Management

Sunday, December 6th, 2009

Author: Ellen Zuckerbr
Source: articleage.combr
br
The concept of Mercury Retrograde is very well known even among non-Astrologers.
It is an excellent example of the use of Astrology as a planning tool. By working with the ebb and flow of planetary energies your life can flow more smoothly and efficiently.
WHAT IS MERCURY RETROGRADE?
When Mercury turns retrograde, it is time to look backward. This period is an excellent time for any activity that entails review, reexamination, and revision.
Astronomically, it refers to a period when Mercury appears to be traveling backwards in the sky – when viewed from Earth.
This is an optical illusion. It is produced by the differences in the distance and speed of its orbit relative to that of the Earth. Like a moving car on a highway in the lane next to yours that appears to be traveling backward, the Mercury is not really moving backwards. It just looks that way.
Mercury begins its retrograde motion by appearing to slow down its forward motion. It will appear to come to a dead stop, or station, then move backward. It picks up speed for a time. Then, again, it slows, then station and move forward.
This period lasts approximately three weeks.
Mercury rules, among other things, our mental functions, communications, and transportation. When Mercury turns retrograde, it functions less well in our day-to-day lives. That is because its energy goes inward.
Ideally, you would take a mental break. But most of us do not have this luxury.
And so, as Mercury forces you to restructure your thinking and reveals flaws in your planning, you are likely to feel frustration.
This is often experienced as personal misunderstandings and communications snafus. Missed appointments, telecommunications and computer glitches, missing mail, transportation delays, blocks in negotiations are other common examples.
These things do happen when Mercury is direct. But they happen much more frequently when Mercury is retrograde.
That is the reason for that common piece of Astrological advice to be conscientious about such things as backing up your computer, double-checking schedules and appointments, and allowing more time in your travel.
It is also well advised to refrain from making major commitments and signing important contracts during this period. Careless thinking, misinformation, haste and poor communication impede the ability to make wise decisions.
Often people feel pressured to make an immediate decision. It is best to wait if possible.
It is likely that you will change your mind after Mercury changes direction as new information comes to light or a different perspective is revealed.
HOW TO USE THE ENERGY OF MERCURY RETROGRADE
There are many positive uses for Mercury Retrograde energy. This is an excellent time for introspection – looking towards the past. Your focus may change and alternative ideas may come to light.
Mercury Retrograde is an optimum time to focus on people, issues and projects that are already established or from the past.
It is an excellent time to initiate contact and meet with people who have not been in your life for a while. In fact, it is not uncommon to be contacted by long lost friends and family at this time.
This is the time is to take on any activities that entail review or revision of old or already established projects.
Cleaning out reviewing and reorganizing records is an excellent example. Another is gathering your financial information together from the past year in preparation for filing your tax return.
WHEN DOES MERCURY GO RETROGRADE?
Mercury makes his retrograde dance approximately three times a year for a period of three weeks. You may feel its effects up to a week or so before it makes its retrograde station.
Here are the periods when Mercury goes retrograde for 2005 and 2006:
2005

March 19 to April 12

July 23 to August 16

November 14 to December 4
2006

March 2 to March 25

July 4 to July 29

October 28 to November 18

The Metaphysical View of Death and Life After Death Part 4

Sunday, November 29th, 2009

Author: Leonard Leebr
Source: downloadbr
br
At times the soul undergoing transition is led across rivers with the aid of an escort. In Greek myths, Charon, the boatman, was assigned the task of guiding souls to the Otherside. Hermes, acting as psychopompos, led deserving souls to Olympus. The ushabtis, or statuettes buried with the dead among ancient Egyptians, could conceivably represent escorts or soul-bearers, aside from the usual interpretation of scholars of them being servants in the afterlife. In other religions, the escort of the soul is the Angel of Death, the grim reaper wielding a scythe as depicted in one of the cards of the Major Arcana of the Tarot–although the average Christian sees that being not as an escorter but as an avenger. Muslims call this Angel of Death, Izrail. There is a possibility that escorts of the soul do not always fetch departing souls from the Otherside. They may, in fact, also come from our physical dimension aiding souls in their transition. What we are intimating is that the mastery of astral projection or lucid dreaming actually gives the mystic or psychic the power to act as psychopompos, or guide of the soul. Our own personal experience may suggest this, as we will relate below, however, we are not implying here that we have personally mastered the art of occult mobilization, or attained a spirituality of a high degree:
We (I, me, myself) once had a dear friend who was a Theosophist. Although there were decades of physical years between us, we were rather close. One day, we received a call informing us of her demise. Her passing was sudden and unexpected. Wondering what her condition was like in the bardo, that night we decided to be by her side to offer assistance. And so with affirmations, intense mind-programming, and a strong desire, we spontaneously attained a projection without strenuously going through the usual steps as taught in occult books and schools. Moments later, we were by her side, leading her to a certain place, to a certain spiritual guide or master with whom in the astral state we were well acquainted with. When we reached our destination, we said to her: from hereon you are on your own. We shall meet again. After bidding her farewell, we were once again back in our physical body.
All along the projection, we were lucid and aware–aware that a part of us was asleep in bed; while another aspect, was active in another world. This is one of the signs indicating that the experience was not a dream. Soul-travel as we have mentioned before, is a mystery to the average religious devotee. Eventhough mystics, prophets and saints have alluded to this particular occult ability possessed by man, the average person still remains unconvinced and skeptical as to its reality; or from another perspective they fear it as a satanic gift. However, at least the Bahแii faith firmly states the possibility for one to experience the afterlife while yet still alive and embodied on earth. Many modern saints such as Padre Pio were adepts of soul-travel.
Soul-travel, or astral travel is a natural mode of rest for the incarnating soul from the vicissitudes of everyday life. This usually occurs through sleep, but may be induced through various means. It is through this occult faculty that knowledge of the various dimensions may be gained. Ancient Greeks were familiar with the art of astral projection. In their myths there are many references to heroes visiting the underworld, such as Hercules, Aeneas, and Odysseus, or sorceresses such as Medea accompanying Jason, the captain of the Argonauts in his adventures–although she in her astral body. These myths probably refer to the astral aspects of the secret initiations of the ancient Mystery Schools.
The Occult Tradition
Before explaining the death process from the occult and metaphysical point of view, we ought to possess some knowledge of mans occult anatomy, for mans hidden structure and physiology play an important role in the release of the soul from its confinement to the form and the disintegration of the physical body and they are, therefore, a pertinent factor to our understanding of transition. It is also of some relevance to know the structure of the various planes or dimensions. We shall, therefore, consider these two essential topics briefly before discussing the process of transition from the occult perspective.
The Microcosm
Man, the microcosm, possesses several bodies, principles, or vehicles. According to Theosophy, these principles/bodies are seven in number: Monad, Atma, Buddhi, Higher Mental/Causal, Lower Mental, Astral Body, and Etheric/Physical. Christianity divides mans components into body, soul and spirit. The concept of man possessing several bodies is also to be found in Hinduism, the Qaballah, and Islam; and is in fact based on the teachings of the Ageless Wisdom; it is to be found underlying all spiritual traditions in one form or another. The Initiates of ancient Egypt, for instance, had a clear understanding of mans subtle anatomy as we can see from the following suggested correspondence with the Theosophical system:
Physical Body – Khat
Etheric Body – Khaibit (shadow)
Astral Body – Ka (double)
Lower Mental – Ba (heart-soul)
Causal Body – Sahu (spiritual body)
Higher Mental – Ren (name)
Buddhi – Khu/Ab (spiritual soul)
Atma – Sekhem (power)
Monad – Khabs
In average cases, the bodies directly involved in the death process and in the afterdeath state are of the first five-the physical body, etheric, astral, lower mental, and causal. In certain conditions it may involve the first two or three.
Each body or principle has energy-centers fully developed and functioning, or in the process of unfoldment. These energy-centers are called chakras in Hindu occultism and there are seven of major importance. In the physical body the endocrine glands and the plexi correspond to these chakras. The following are the Hindu terms for these chakras as well as their correspondence to the glands and their location:
Muladhara – gonads – base of spine
Svadishtana – spleen/pancreas – naval
Manipura – adrenals – solar plexus
Anahata – thymus – heart
Vishuddha – thyroid – throat
Ajna – pituitary – center of eyebrows
Sahasrara – pineal – crown
Every vehicle of consciousness possesses chakras, some of which are not functioning to its full potential or fully-developed as yet in the average human being. Chakras are channels and transformers of energy. They receive the influx of energies originating from higher spheres and distribute those energies to a lower principle. The frequencies or qualities of these chakras are associated with ones evolutionary development; this account for the many colours attributed to them by various authorities who often seemingly contradict one another. These chakras vibrate at a rate determined by the quality of the indwelling soul. During transition the soul escapes through one of these portals. Ones evolutionary development determines where the soul would make its exit. According to occult teachings, it is favorable for the soul to be released through the crown chakra or other higher centers; escape through the lower centers results in a transition to one of the lower worlds. Generally speaking, the average person evacuates the body, in the process of transition, through the solar plexus chakra. This is because the manipura chakra is associated with the qualities of self-centeredness, and is the normal expression and polarization of the average person. Aspirants and servers of humanity often emerge out of the heart chakra, as this chakra is related to an expanding love for all sentient beings. Enlightened, spiritual souls pass out of the physical form through the crown chakra. This major center is associated with pure, lofty thoughts and feelings, with a sense of oneness and identification with all beings. It is this crown chakra that Hopi Indians believed to be the exit of the soul at death. Occultism declares that the point of exit indicates the realm that the indwelling soul would sojourn, whether it be in the lower regions of hell, or in the upper localities of heaven.
Connecting the various bodies together, like beads on a string, is the sutratma. This sutratma is sometimes referred to as the silver cord. This term comes from one of the books of the Old Testament.
Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern. (Ecclesiastes 12:6)
While the indwelling soul is incarnated in the physical form, the sutratma remains intact, connecting the lower form to the higher principles. It functions primarily as a channel for divine life forces–the energies emanating from the Monad. In sleep and in the astral state, when the awareness-principle roams about in the higher dimensions, this cord serves as a connecting link between the material body and the astral form. So long as this cord exists intact, the soul is bound to the physical body. Once the cord is severed, as occurs in the death process, the soul loses its connection with the physical body. A person may be in a coma, or in a cataleptic state with a resemblance of death, but so long as the cord endures, it is always possible for life to return–it is possible to raise the dead, so to speak.
Another point to consider concerning mans occult anatomy which is relevant to our discussion of the process of transition are the seed-atoms. These atoms are vortexes of energies which collectively speaking, may be considered as the records of the unfolding soul, or as the souls book of life. They correspond to Kiramun-i-Kaitibun, the recording angels in sufi teachings. Occultism teaches the existence of three seed-atoms–the mental, astral and the physical seed-atom. These atoms register all of the thoughts, feelings and actions of the incarnated soul. They are records of the quality and nature of the soul, and may be thought of as the memory book of all the experiences of the souls past incarnated lives. They, therefore, also contain the records of ones karmic history. It should be noted that although Buddhism teaches reincarnation, they do not believe in a self that reincarnates. To Buddhists, that which reincarnates are the karmic traits of the awareness-principle. Although we will not consider the question of what survives and reincarnates, it is interesting to know that these karmic traits correlate with the contents of the seed-atoms.
The mental seed-atom is associated with the souls consciousness and mental world of thoughts and ideas. In the physical body it resides in the pineal gland. Ones feelings, negative and positive, are registered in the astral seed-atom. The liver is the temporary home of this seed-atom. The physical seed-atom abides in the heart. It is associated with the life-principle within the body. In the death process, the seed-atoms emerge out of the physical body in sequence, as we shall see presently.
According to occultism in general, in the beginning of a manvantara, or cycle of manifestation and creation, the First Cause emanated from Itself streams of energies of varying densities; or Spirit vibrating in a whole spectrum of frequencies. These energies, structured electronically in high and low densities, are the various dimensions, planes, realms, or mansions of the manifested Cosmos. In the Qaballah, these dimensions and planes are referred to as the 4 worlds and the sephiroths. According to theosophical teachings, there are seven planes that concerns mans present evolution. These seven planes are collectively called the cosmic physical plane. Though there are higher planes, we will not consider them, as they have very little to do with mans evolution, and are far beyond our status as human souls.
The seven planes, in theosophical teachings are called: Logoic, Monadic, Atmic, Buddhic, Mental, Astral, and Physical. Certain Sufi teachings refer to these various planes as: Alam-i-tabi-at, Alam-i-surat, Alam-i-mana, Alam-i-malakut, Alam-i-jabarut, Alam-i-lahut, and Alam-i-hahut. Each of the seven planes mentioned are subdivided into seven lesser realms making 49 in all. The various heavens and hells (realms of joy and suffering) which the human soul sojourns and dwells are to be found in the Mental and Astral regions. In the upper regions of the Mental subplanes is to be found what is called the Causal plane. This is paradise proper where most souls go to rest before reincarnating in the physical dimension. Tibetan Buddhism refers to the Physical, Astral and Mental planes as the six worlds: the world of gods (Devaloka), of Titans (Asuraloka), of hungry ghosts (Pretaloka), of hell, of animals, and of humans. These descriptive realms symbolically refer to human behaviour and evolutionary development with a predominating characteristic vice: for instance, pride, envy, greed, hatred, ignorance, and desire. These six worlds are the abodes or heavens–or hell, as the case may be–of souls of varied spiritual development. Below we give the evolutionary level of souls in correlation with the six worlds that they vibrate in harmony with:
Causal-Higher Mental Planes – World of gods – Saints, masters . . .
Lower Mental Planes – World of Asuras – Philosophers, heroes . . .
Higher and Mid-Astral Planes – World of Pretas – Average man
Lower Astral Planes – World of Animals – Purgatory, temporary abode of average man.
Sub-Lower Astral Planes – World of Demons – Hell, temporary abode of evil and wicked men.
Physical Plane – World of Humans – Physical world, all types of souls.
Transition and the after death state
We have already discussed the various relevant parts of mans occult anatomy that are directly involved in the death process. We shall now see how they fit together in the souls birthing process into another realm. It should be noted, however, that there are variations in the death process. We shall be considering the normal process of death for the average person, but before we do, let us consider how occultism advocates the method of assistance to the dying.
Occultism teaches the necessity for absolute quietness surrounding the dying. The moanings and wailings of relatives and friends should be kept at a minimum and away from the presence of the one undergoing transition. The dyings sense of perception is heightened during transition and is focused strongly on the bardo, and, therefore, it is imperative at this stage that nothing disturbs the dying person. To do so would distract the soul from liberating itself in the early stages of the bardo and prevent it from being reborn in a higher realm. It is said that orange light in the room of the dying helps the awareness-principle to maintain consciousness so that it would not miss the Clear Light of the first stage of the bardo. Oneness and identification with the Clear Light is what causes liberation for the soul–liberation from the necessity to reincarnate. Sandalwood incense and chanting of mantras also aid the dying to remain focussed and mentally alert. In the Tibetan tradition, certain guidance is given verbally to the dying pilgrim, that it may recognize the various stages of the bardo and what it should do once they are encountered and experienced. Occultism advocates similar assistance to the dying, since the basic purpose underlying both systems are one and the same, that is, the liberation of the soul from an unfortunate rebirth in one of the lower regions of the cosmos which causes evolutionary stagnation. The techniques for aiding the dying as well as dying fruitfully is well worth knowing–especially to practicing metaphysicians.
What is important to learn is the maintaining of ones mind and consciousness at a lofty level through constant meditation and mental reflection in everyday life. This polarizes the consciousness in the head chakra and facilitates the recognition of the dawning light in the first stage of the bardo. Dying consciously is more advantageous than dying in an unconscious manner for the above reason.
Strangely enough, depending upon our perspective, highly evolved souls are aware of the time and onset of their death. This inner knowing is derived from intuitive impressions from the Oversoul, or Higher Self. Such initiates are knowledgeable of the process of death and they transit in full awareness without a break or a hiatus in their consciousness. Some even attain what is called the Rainbow Body. This is the transformation or the absorption of physical particles of the body into ones spiritual light during transition, leaving no empty corpse behind. This is alluded to in the biblical passage concerning the prophet Enoch, where it is said that he walked with God and was not.
Those having seen the Clear Light and have united with it, or acquired the divine gnosis called marifatullah in Esoteric Islam encounters various esoteric/exoteric signs months and days prior to the death process:

The Source Channels the True Meaning of Consciousness

The word ‘consciousness’ is understood to have various meanings and interpretations to the one word. However, as I channel from the unseen by way of writing while I sleep I will focus this post on the true meaning of consciousness, based on the meaning from the channel.

Consciousness is universal energy, life. This life force or energy force is the golden cord that keeps us with the radar of earth. If you understand Astral travelling you will understand the link between the golden cord and consciousness. It must be understood that consciousness is not stagnant within the earth dimension; it can be transcendental within any dimension, from any post.

Consciousness travels from inside to out. From humans it’s from darkness into light, or from darkness into darkness universal energy. Life force is consciousness that we are attached to. Like the tree that carries branches but the branches cannot grow without the seed which gives it life to the tree. It’s the same concept with consciousness, a universal force from the Label Less creator to us, consciousness will not disappear when the flesh leaves your vessel, rather, consciousness has just began it journey outside the earth plane of man.

The writing says 26/11/08
“I say unto man see yourself not just as human beings, for man gave unto you the name human. I gave unto you universal energy that will take the inner self outside a label given by man. Use the wheel in your central vision to go beyond the label of earth, here you will learn the truth outside the dimension of man that will give you true conscious thoughts on the earth. Tiye Teach”.

This is clearly saying we are not only human beings by name given to us by our predecessors who are also like us. We are also part and parcel of the universal energy that surrounds us. We can go beyond our self, beyond our human selves beyond the label of man. When you achieve this you will learn more than those who just remain on earth, it’s like leaving a primary school to go to a secondary school to learn and gain more knowledge.

This will then give you more conscious thoughts on earth being more aware and awake to the illusion we are now evolved in. We as humans can go higher than our self and understand the vibrational patterns given unto us when we left consciousness, descending into the cavity of the womb with profound intelligence, to explore the earth and the consciousness within it. We are indeed super humans with all the multi dimensional abilities we just have to capture all that is given unto us!

The Writing says 10/1/09
“I say unto the earth of man, let it be told. Man began with consciousness entwined within the etheric body from the beginning, whose life entered the womb, the consciousness of self. Man’s internal breath is consciousness through the source until external breath prevails, then self becomes the wheel of the Aayuni Yeux Eyes. Use the central wheel vision for the way to Monadic consciousnesses Monadisch.”

If we began life with consciousness entwined within the etheric body from the beginning, then what is the etheric body? The etheric body is what feeds your physical body from the source of existence, and because it feeds the physical body all ailments to you passes through your etheric body before it reaches your physical being.

So, if you are emotionally unstable with stress anger or even hatred, before all that reaches your physical body it first encounters your shield, your etheric body, before it labours on to the physical you. This also applies to illnesses and diseases. Yes, it follows the same route. When you carry vengeance, reject and neglect the power of your being.

Not understanding the power of love and care will also affect your etheric/emotional body, which sends a signal to your physical body like an electric current, and you’re on your way to destruction. This can be stopped in its tracks with you connecting directly with the Label Less, the source of man, through consciousness.

Understanding this direct conscious communication is not through man or any religious institution but through you directly. Embraced consciousness it cannot be bought or sold. If man could find a way to sell tax and control consciousness they would. As consciousness is presently free, continue to embrace it for it is wise, indeed to gain wisdom to commune with the Label Less Source before it is too late.
