These days the internet has grown into an online marketplace where people come and go to purchase goods and services. Unlike before when you have to send applications in availing of services through mail, you can now make orders at just a few clicks of the mouse and pay online using your credit card, and you can thank the internet.

A lot of businesses have also profited from the internet, as their market has grown both locally and internationally. Businessmen have also found new partners from companies across the globe, thus making their own ventures more profitable to date.

One of the businesses that have benefited a lot from the internet is Coastal Vacations. It is a travel membership company that provides travel memberships for people who love to go on vacations to the different parts of the globe. Coastal Vacations have been present in the industry for almost 13 years now, and let’s see what they have to offer.

In Coastal Vacations, you first have to be a member yourself before you get to sell their membership packages. You have to purchase two membership packages, which act as your qualifying sales. Afterwards you can head on to selling memberships to others in order for you to earn.

Before you become a member of Coastal Vacations, there is a board of directors who will review your application, and see whether or not you are qualified to be part of the company. If they reject you, your application fee will be refunded. They also decide on which members should be eliminated, particularly those who do not make any sales.

Unlike other networking programs, Coastal Vacations is not about multi-level marketing. You get paid through direct sales, thus you can use your own marketing skills in order to sell those packages to your target audiences. No need for recruits, just sell the packages.

You can use your membership packages in Coastal Vacations. If you want to get the best out of your membership in the company, then you can use the packages you have bought and go on a vacation. Like others who have bought memberships, you too can avail of discounts and efficient access to the resorts you plan to go to.

Finally, you need at least $1295 as a starting investment for Coastal Vacations. This amount is good for a year’s worth of membership in the company, and you must also possess the passion for travel, otherwise you will not be able to enjoy the benefits provided by this networking program.

Meanwhile, if you are looking for other options when it comes to travel memberships, then you may also try the Global Resorts Network. It’s more than just a travel membership business, you too can earn from selling travel memberships to your friends and other contacts. There are no ‘qualifying sales’ in this program, thus you get a commission on every sale you make. Now you can enjoy your travel membership at the fullest while earn from it at the same time!

So, are you planning to venture on the travel membership business? Then check out Global Resorts Network to find more features that can actually fit to your needs and preferences as a traveler with an eye for business.

This interview is an excerpt from Kevin Gianni’s Rawkathon, which can be found at http://www.Rawkathon.com. In this excerpt, Happy Oasis shares her life story and explains just how she got the name Happy Heavenly Oasis.

Rawkathon with Happy Oasis. Happy Oasis is a raw food inspiration, an author and the “Chief Visionary Officer” of the Raw Spirit Festival.

Kevin: Well, Happy I want to welcome you to this program. I’m excited to have you here.

Happy: I’m so delighted to be here. Thank You! [Laughter]

Kevin: Let’s start off with telling people a little bit about just who you are. Tell me who you are so we can get an idea of what your whole story is.

Happy: Well, my name is Happy Heavenly Oasis. I’m the Chief Visionary Officer of the Raw Spirit Festival. That started many, many years ago. When I was living with tribal people in third world countries and as these tribal families who had adopted me were having different challenges with the societies they were living under, I decided that I would like to find out who is my real tribe. Because these tribes were being victims of genocide. So I decided to return to America and start the Raw Spirit Festival. I thought who would be the people who would not be victims of war? Who would be not victims of the Coca Cola and Marlboro campaigns, who know what television is about the pros and the cons? I thought those would be the people who would be very clean inside so that they would have clarity of the mind. That is one way that the Raw Spirit Festival was
sprouted.

Kevin: Happy Heavenly Oasis, you’ve got to tell me where that came from. I mean was it a given name. I want to know. [Laughs]

Happy: Well there’s two parts of the name. The second part of the name is kind of funny. About 15 years ago, I was in the little town of Prescott, Arizona and I decided to have my name changed. I went in and the judge said to me, “Happy Oasis?” It was just the judge, his scribe, and myself in this little white room. He said, “Happy Oasis? Are you some kind of hippy kid on drugs?” I was surprised. I said “No, your honor, I don’t even drink alcohol. Do you?” And he blushed and he kind of mumbled and said, “Oops.” And so then he returned the papers to me after the comment and he said, “I will not change your name. You need a middle name.” I said, “Your honor, Cher doesn’t even have a last name.” He said, “This is not Hollywood, California this is Prescott, Arizona and I happen to be the presiding judge and I say you need a middle name.” So he handed the
paperwork back to me, but I didn’t take it. I stood there breathing, looking for some assistance. I looked up and along the white wall there was a little box and through that box at the top of the wall is the blue Arizona sky. And seeing that I said, “Heavenly your honor. Heavenly is my middle name.” He kind of grumbles and then he filled out the paperwork and that’s my legal name.

Then I directly went down to the DMV, the Department of Motor Vehicles, with my new name to get a new driving license and I gave my new signature, which was a smiley face, and a ruckus broke out because they said, “We can’t have a smiley face as a legal signature.” But then the other half of the management said, “Yes we can have.” So they contacted other states. They contacted Washington. This smiley face became hours of waiting for the final outcome and they decided that we were the only state, Arizona, and I am the only American, that has a smiley face as my legal signature. No circle, just a smiley.

So the name Happy Oasis was started in a little bit less privileged arena and that was I was a teenager and I was in Bangladesh and I had been traveling through Asia for some time, by myself and I was self-funded. I was almost 19 or something like that, and I had just arrived in Bangladesh and it was in the height of monsoon season and there were dozens of Bengalis, Muslim men, on the bus with me. I was the only foreigner and the only blonde woman, of course. And because of that I decided to definitely wear a Burkha, or a head covering, over my head in a traditional Muslim fashion. As we proceeded into the countryside it was pouring down rain and apparently it had been for a very long time and a dam broke. It spilled water over our road so the bus stopped and where we were became an island by default. So thousands of villagers, at least hundreds, but potentially thousands, I couldn’t quite see the end of this island, gathered together on this low remnant of an island filled with puddles in the pouring rain. And through the silver rain I could see these people coming and I could also see that on ground there were people already resting in the mud puddles. Then I realized that the people who were resting in the mud puddles were actually dead. So I thought, what can be done? So immediately I thought, I’ll cash some of my Traveler’s Checks, I did have couple of thousand of dollars of Traveler’s Checks, back in late 80s, and then I
looked through the rain and I realized that there was no bank. Then I realized that it really wasn’t much more than a hamlet. It was a very small village and so I thought, I’ll buy everybody a meal, as much as I can with the 200 dollars or so of cash that I had in their currency, until I realized there was no food in any shop.

So at that point a leper came up on to the bus, a very skinny man, an elder, he was probably the ripe old age of 35, and he came hobbling up on the bus. He was starving to death, very skinny. His femur was about as thick as my wrist. And he hobbled to back of the bus were I was and he reached out to touch my hair, I had a long blonde hair and a strand of that hair had somehow wiggled through the burkha, and so he touched my hair and I realized that he didn’t have any fingers. There are two kind of leprosy, one of the nose and one of the fingers, and he had the kind of fingers. Then he turned around, but before he did he looked into my eyes and I have never seen anything like it before. He already had… his soul had passed over. The look on the eyes was of like death or eternal life, however you would say. Well he turned around and he hobbled off the bus and he laid down in the puddle and he died, right next to the bus. So shortly thereafter I was getting the feeling that the Red Cross is not going to come, it’s too cloudy, nobody could land, Amnesty International… I’ve always been an activist, since I was a kid. They are probably not going to be there, and so I was wondering what to do. I was feeling so sad that I was feeling angry. Have you ever had the feeling like congealed sorrow equals anger?

I was just like fuming when this other man started walking toward me, from beside the bus, he was also really skinny, he was obviously an elder, he was also starving to death. But he had a big smile on his face. He was also dressed in a dodi, which is a little loin cloth or a little rag, for clothing, and pouring rain, and he is beaming with this big smile. I thought, this is so inappropriate. So I said to him, “How can you smile in this circumstance?” I said it in English, forgetting where I was. And he said back in Queens, Bengali English, “Madam,” the first time somebody had ever called me madam, because I was pretty young, he said, “Smiling is all have to give. Come with me.” So I went with him and he taught me how to sing to people. So we sang to all these people, a lot of them children and teenagers, as they were dying. So in a place where money couldn’t do any good because they didn’t have any, there wasn’t any food to go buy even if we had some, instead of these children going into the next life, transcending this life with a grimace on their face and with lots of fear, a lot of them had a little smile on their face when they died. We soothed them with singing and with smiling and kind of caressing their forehead, touching their knee, that kind of thing, which was a little bit of a taboo in Bangladesh, but we went ahead and did it anyway in the pouring rain. It seemed to make a real difference, a big difference. And so in the middle of this I was thinking every once in a while it occurred to me what was happening and I thought, I don’t know whether I’m going to survive the situation. I had no idea how long I was going to be there. So I made this vow that if I can survive this dangerous situation, and there were compounded dangers because I was a young, blonde woman alone in this county, I will be like this man. I would love to be like this man who became my instant hero. He was singing songs to Allah and I was singing summer camp songs…

Kevin: [Laughs]

Happy: …because I had just been a summer camp counselor in Michigan just months before that. So here we were singing, it didn’t really matter what the words were, it was the tone, the cheerfulness in our voice, that was matching each other. We were actually singing very harmonically together. And so he became my hero and I decided that if I survive this situation, I vow, and I would love to be a happy oasis unto the world.

Kevin: Wow. That is an incredible story.

Happy: It was just the beginning.

Vanuatu (previously known as the New Hebrides Islands) is an archipelago nation consisting of 83 islands in the southwest Pacific Ocean, north of New Zealand and east of Australia. The British and French who settled the New Hebrides in the 19th century agreed in 1906 to an Anglo-French Condominium, which administered the islands until independence in 1980. European settlers released several saltwater crocodiles on the island, although today’s population on the island officially stands at 2 or 3 medium-sized individuals on the Banks Islands and no breeding has been observed. Despite its proximity to Papua New Guinea, crocodiles do not naturally occur on Vanuatu. The climate is tropical, and almost always warm, with temperatures in the 20s and 30s celsius. The wet season runs from November to April, and can be very rainy and humid. Cyclones may occur from December to April. HOW TO REACH By boat – Vanuatu’s main ports are Port-Vila on the island of Efate and Luganville on the island of Espiritu Santo. The Pacific and Orient (P&O) Cruise lines operate regular cruises through Vanuatu waters. Tallship Soren Larsen, sails from Fiji to Port Vila and Santo and explores the northern Banks Islands once a year. 2008: Sails from Lautoka to Yasawa island then Vanuatu – 18 nights from 31 Aug-18 Sept. Subsequent 11 night cruises explore the Banks Islands, then the isolated islands of central Vanuatu, depart from Port Vila via Tanna island to New Caledonia on 19 Oct By plane – The main international airport is located in Port-Vila with flights to and from: Australia – Brisbane – Air Vanuatu (Qantas code share and Pacific Blue Sydney – Air Vanuatu (Qantas code share) Melbourne – Air Vanuatu New Zealand – Auckland – Air Vanuatu and Air New Zealand Fiji – Nadi – Air Vanuatu and Air Pacific New Caledonia – Nouméa – Air Vanuatu and Aircalin Singapore – Singapore Airlines Solomon Islands – Solomon Airlines Direct flights from both Sydney and Brisbane to Luganville with Air Vanuatu STAY SAFE Port Vila is, on the whole, a very safe and friendly environment. You are unlikely to encounter any trouble unless you do something extremely provocative. There are no seriously poisonous snakes, spiders, or insects on Vanuatu, however there are various poisonous aquatic animals that you should beware of if you are swimming, snorkeling, or diving in the area. The most dangerous of these is the stonefish. Saltwater crocodiles are present, so the likelihood of an attack is minimal.  Â

Air travel with kids can be quite a challenging task. To get them to airport without losing your mind is very difficult. Browse through this article that will help you travel with ease.

1. Keep your children occupied by giving them some task at the airport like remembering the gate numbers, taking care of small luggage etc. Children are normally very distracted and often lose their focus on task. So keep a close eye on them.

2. Carry minimum luggage in order to avoid un-necessary baggage checking. If you spend more time at the security checking, there will be less time to keep a tab on your children activities. Take minimum items on airplane that you and your kids would need during the journey. Minimal luggage will help you keep a eye on your kids without having to panic.

3. Choose a direct flight even if it costs you a little more.

4. Choose the right kind of car seat for your kids. Most of the seats in the airplane are designed for adults and the car seats are helpful but the FAA has certain restrictions. The car seats can be used only when approved by the FAA. It appears on the safety sticker if your car seat is approved by the airlines or not. So it is very important to get the car seat approved in order to avoid the hassle. These car seats are normally placed in the window seat so that it will not restrict any passenger from exiting the row in case of emergencies.

5. When your child is throwing a temper tantrum on an airplane, your main focus should be your child and not the other passengers. The best approach is to concentrate on your child and let the flight attendants deal with the irate passengers.

In many ways, travel nursing can look like the ideal job. It gives you the opportunity to learn more about different ways people live and work, from coast to coast. You get to meet new people and bond with new friends. Travel nursing also pays quite well.

If you don’t like the cold, you might prefer to take a Southern assignment. Or you can choose to spend the winter months in the South and work in northern states during the summer. If you need to take a few months off, it’s completely up to you. You just take a few months off to refresh yourself before accepting additional assignments. The majority of travel nurses report that traveling has helped them return to patient focused nursing.

Does that sound like the job of your dreams?

In reality, not every nursing school graduate will find travel nursing appealing.

If you’re thinking about it, the first question you need to ask yourself is whether or not traveling is enjoyable to you. Travel nursing involves a great deal of serious traveling, often crisscrossing the country. The average length of time for a typical assignment is 13 weeks. Assignments are often back-to-back and this can be mentally, physically and emotionally exhausting.

You need to remember you’re on assignment, not on vacation While you will have time off of course, you’ll have a schedule to follow. You’ll be asked to report at the start of your shift at the proper time. During the assignment, you’ll be expected to stay focused on the job. Travel nursing is still work, not a party.

Another question to think about is do you make new friends easily? As a traveling nurse, you frequently find yourself in a city where you know no one. There are no familiar faces. To really appreciate travel nursing, it helps if you’re able to develop friendships out of total strangers quickly.

There are a few extra challenges as a travel nurse if you have a spouse or special someone.. If they have a job that allows them to travel with you, it seems to be a little easier on the relationship. If your spouse or significant other is also a nurse, often you can find assignments in the same hospital. Hospitals welcome these tandem nursing teams, and it has worked very well for thousands of couples, as well as friends who like to travel together.

You need to be certain, before you even begin, that you’re not bothered by being away from familiar faces, including any pets. However, most agencies now will allow you to travel with a pet or another person. Just keep in mind that you will be spending a great deal of time away from familiar faces and surroundings.

So before you sign an agreement with a travel nurse agency, be certain you’re willing to make the sacrifices needed in order to have a career of travel nursing. There are particular personality traits that most experienced travel nurses share. They love to explore, they display a strong work ethic, they have faith in their medical abilities, and are usually lively and outgoing. If this appeals to you, and you have at least one year of experience in hospital work then travel nursing could be the perfect direction your nursing career should take.

Pro Travel Nursing has even more valuable information if you’re considering becoming a travel nurse. The pay is great, the perks are many, and the experience is unbelievably memorable. However, it’s not a lifestyle suited for everyone. Do some research first before seeking out a career in travel nursing. Once you decide it’s a go… you’ll never look back!

With the tremendous growth of tourism in recent years, there are quite a few options for cheap flights to Spain. There has been an increase in discount airlines to some of its local airports, with more discount airlines now flying into Spain. When taking advantage of these cheaper flights, though, you will have to sacrifice some of the conveniences that you may be accustomed to receiving with the larger, higher priced airlines.

Discount airlines offer lower priced fares to many locations throughout Spain. There is a greater choice of lower priced fares from airports in Europe from rather than from the United States, but you may be able to find lower fares nonetheless. Some of the airports with the best rates include Alicante, Barcelona, Madrid, Murcia, Valencia, Menorca, Malaga, Seville, Mallorca and Palma. If you are flying from the United States, direct flights are available through larger carriers but are more expensive. Direct flights may be available from New York, Philadelphia, Miami, Houston, Atlanta and Newark. Though you my find a lower priced ticket, the price will not be as low as fares with discount airlines.

The internet is a good place research flights and compare prices to find the best deal, but some discount airlines are not posted on the major travel websites. To include their fares in your comparison of flight costs, you will need to contact the airline directly. It may be less convenient than performing a simple online search, but taking the time to call the carrier may save you money.

One way to find lower priced fares is to consider flying on different days. For example, flights on the weekend are often more expensive than flights during the middle part of the week. Also consider the time you are flying, as early morning or late-night flights are often less expensive. It may be an inconvenience but, again, you could save money.

One reason discount airlines are able to offer cheaper flight is because of the lack of conveniences and extra services found on the larger carriers. Discount carriers do not offer meals to its travelers and most do not even offer snacks. You may want to bring your own snack and, with regulations limiting liquids allowed on planes, it may be better for you to pay for a beverage once you have boarded the plane. Additionally, discount carriers often have more restrictions regarding baggage with most carrying a limit of two pieces of luggage. You may be able to bring more baggage, but you will probably be required to pay a fairly large amount. Be sure to ask about the baggage policy so you can plan your trip accordingly and, hopefully, avoid any unexpected and additional charges. Finally, you are likely to have a significant layover with discount carriers. You may wait several hours before your connecting flight, but this inconvenience could also save you money. This time between flights could be a good opportunity to read a book, shop or eat meal since food is not served on the plane.

Hobart is located in the south of Tasmania (An island off the south of mainland Australia). Hobart is the largest city in Tasmania with a population of about 202,000 people. Hobart was founded in 1803 by British convicts and their guards. Hobart is connected to the rest of Australia by its airport which sees services fly elsewhere in the state and also interstate. Direct flights to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide are available. Qantas, Jetstar and Virgin Blue all fly out of Hobart. This usually means that you should be able to get a bargain type special flight with relative ease. If you are visiting Hobart a good time is to see the finish of either Targa Tasmania a yearly motorsport event or the finish of the Sydney to Hobart yacht race is also a good event around the new year time with plenty or parties and events on.

Travelling around Tasmania is easiest by car as public transport services are quite poor with buses being the only option as passenger train services stopped several decades ago. One interesting option for the fit person is to bike around the state. IF you take this option it is advisable to do plenty of research before setting off in order to take the best route.
